XCENTRiC RECORDS® is proud to officially welcome Silas to the label roster, marking the beginning of a new creative chapter built on authenticity, technical excellence, and deep respect for the culture of drum and bass.

Silas’ journey into electronic music began in the mid-1990s, when early exposure to jungle and drum and bass shaped his lifelong commitment to sound design, low-end discipline, and musical integrity. Influenced heavily by pioneers such as LTJ Bukem, the Metalheadz movement, and later artists including Total Science, Calyx, Logistics, and the wider Hospital Records collective, his approach reflects decades of listening, learning, and refinement.

He began producing in 1997 using Fruity Loops before making the pivotal transition to Mac and Logic in 2005 — a move that unlocked a more expressive, precise, and technically focused workflow that remains central to his process today. Rather than chasing trends, Silas has always treated drum and bass as a discipline first — rooted in patience, craft, and respect for where the sound came from.

The signing is the result of a long-standing relationship between Silas and XCENTRiC®, grounded in mutual respect and brotherhood. While XCENTRiC® is known for his original music and DJ-driven, high-energy presence behind the decks, Silas thrives in the studio — shaping sound from the ground up and pushing the technical boundaries of modern drum and bass.

With multiple releases already in development and a clear creative vision ahead, the future of Silas on XCENTRiC RECORDS® is already in motion.
