The JAWN Returns: XCENTRiC & Jerri. Push Part 2 Into Miami Bass and Breaks

Two versions. One record. A completely new direction.

On September 21, 2026, XCENTRiC RECORDS® releases the next chapter of The JAWN with Jerri. and XCENTRiC – The JAWN (Rework Part 2), a faster, heavier reconstruction built around Miami Bass, Breaks and the unmistakable vocal that started it all.

Part 2 isn't simply an alternate mix of the first rework.

The production has been rebuilt from the ground up at 132 BPM in F Minor, with new drums, new percussion, a new groove and a much stronger Miami Bass influence. Jerri.'s vocal remains at the center of the record, but everything surrounding it has been redesigned to push The JAWN into a harder, more aggressive club environment.

The result keeps the attitude and identity that made Part 1 connect while taking the record somewhere distinctly different.

FROM PART 1 TO PART 2

The JAWN (Extended Rework Part 1) became an important release for XCENTRiC RECORDS®, reaching #3 on Beatport's Electronica Top 100 before later finding a new home within Beatport's Breaks / Breakbeat / UK Basscategory.

That evolution makes the arrival of Part 2 especially fitting.

XCENTRiC's production has increasingly explored the space between Breaks, Miami Bass, Garage, House and hip-hop-influenced club music, and Part 2 pushes further into that territory while maintaining the raw character of The JAWN.

Rather than recreating Part 1, the goal was to take the vocal into an entirely new environment.

TWO VERSIONS, TWO WAYS TO EXPERIENCE THE JAWN

The release arrives in two versions.

The JAWN (Rework Part 2) is the full original arrangement and will be available across streaming platforms beginning September 21.

For DJs, The JAWN (Rework Part 2 DJ Intro/Outro Edit) adds extended mixing sections designed for club sets and longer transitions.

The DJ Intro/Outro Edit will be available to purchase through Beatport, while supporters who want to own the complete release can purchase the Complete Download Pack directly from XCENTRiC.

The Complete Download Pack includes both versions in WAV and MP3, giving listeners the original arrangement while giving DJs the extended club-ready version.

BUILT FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER

Part 2 arrives while The JAWN continues introducing XCENTRiC to a broader Breaks audience, but this release represents more than another version of one record.

It is another step in the evolving XCENTRiC sound: broken rhythms, Miami low end, Garage movement, hip-hop attitude and music built first and foremost for the dance floor.
