Reimagining a Club Weapon — XCENTRiC Rework (Private DJ Test)

XCENTRiC RECORDS continues to explore the edge of club-driven sound design with a new private rework currently being tested in select DJ environments.

Built from the foundation of a well-known underground record, this rework focuses on restructuring energy, enhancing transitions, and refining the overall flow to better translate in modern club settings. Rather than reinventing the track entirely, the approach was to preserve its core identity while elevating its impact on the dancefloor.

The current version, labeled as Part 1, remains rooted in the original material, with subtle additions designed to strengthen build-ups and movement within a live set.

A second phase of the project is already in development, where XCENTRiC introduces additional original production, including new synth work and layered elements, pushing the rework into a more distinct sonic direction.

This version is currently being shared privately with a small group of DJs to gather real-world feedback and evaluate crowd response.

The original artist and rights holders have been contacted regarding potential official clearance.
